Immune Boosting Pancakes (Savory)

Savory Immune Boosting Jalapeno Pancakes

THIS is a perfect recipe to dip your toe into the wonderfully fabulous world of using FOOD as MEDICINE. These pancakes are especially great if you feel like you’re coming down with something like a cold or flu, and during the transition from summer to fall or winter to spring—two of our toughest seasonal transitions of the year!

This recipe is based on a Cleansing Ayurvedic Jalapeno Pancake Recipe passed down to me from my mentor, KP Khalsa.

You can substitute the Besam Flour (chickpea flour) for GF flour or wheat flour if that’s in your diet. You can also substitute the jalapeno for a serrano and play with the spices and vegetables.
